1:1 Psychology-led support built around you

Built around where you are

You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from exercise psychology.

FORM works with the person behind the exercise. The support changes with your experience, your goals and the pressures around you.

01 / Restart

Make beginning feel manageable.

Build confidence, find exercise that matters to you and take the pressure out of getting started again.

Starting or returning
02 / Consistency

Stay engaged when life changes.

Replace rigid routines with an approach that can adapt to busy weeks, missed sessions and changing motivation.

Exercising, but not consistently
03 / Perform

Prepare your mind as deliberately as your body.

Strengthen focus, confidence and your response to pressure in training, competition or performance.

Experienced and high-performing
Motivation changes. Your approach can be built to hold.

The FORM approach

Understand the person, not just the plan.

Exercise rarely happens in perfect conditions. FORM helps you understand the thoughts, habits and pressures that shape what you do, then turns that insight into clear actions you can practise.

  • 01 Make exercise personally meaningful
  • 02 Build flexibility into the plan
  • 03 Respond constructively to setbacks
  • 04 Review what is actually helping

How the work develops

Insight is useful. Practice creates change.

The work is collaborative and practical. You will know what to try, when to use it and how to judge whether it is helping.

01

Understand

Identify what is helping, what gets in the way and what matters to you.

02

Shape

Turn that understanding into realistic strategies and a clear plan.

03

Practise

Apply the strategies during training, busy weeks and difficult moments.

04

Review

Notice what changes, learn from the evidence and adjust the approach.

Psychology meets practice

Qualified to understand both the mind and the training.

Mike is a dual-qualified Sport & Exercise Psychologist and Personal Trainer. His work connects evidence-based psychology with the practical realities of exercise, coaching and performance. That means support can address both what you are doing and the thinking, habits and context around it.

Alongside FORM, Mike is a Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Psychology. As a Sport & Exercise Psychologist, he has supported international athletes and professional teams, and he is a published researcher in the field. This blend of research, teaching and real-world practice keeps his support grounded in evidence and the realities of exercise and performance.
