About Mike
Dr Mike
McGreary
Sport & Exercise Psychologist.
Researcher. Lecturer. Practitioner.
I set up FORM to bring psychological research and practical support together, alongside my work in academia. The aim is to help people make sense of their experiences and find approaches they can use in everyday exercise, training and performance.
I am an HCPC Registered Sport & Exercise Psychologist, a Chartered Psychologist and a Senior Lecturer in Sport & Exercise Psychology. I am also a published researcher and Level 3 Personal Trainer.
Experience that informs the work
Grounded in evidence.
Built around people.
My experience spans people new to exercise, endurance-event exercisers, junior amateur athletes and senior international performers.
I have supported athletes and coaches across football, cricket, golf, combat sports, motorsports, tennis, padel, swimming and gymnastics.
Alongside applied practice, my research and teaching keep me engaged with the evidence in sport and exercise psychology. My personal training qualification also helps me connect psychological work with the practical demands of exercise.
Whether you are trying to make exercise stick or preparing to perform under pressure, the starting point is understanding you: your goals, values, circumstances and experiences.
